Using the internet and email abroad

Choose from simple, flexible options to help you stay in control of your data roaming costs. How much you pay will depend on:

The country you're visiting
How you access the internet - on your phone or laptop
How much data (MBs) you use when you're online

We've split the world into two price zones

On your phone

Standard data costs abroad

In Europe

Using data abroad in our Europe zone is now easier with Vodafone Data Traveller - Europe. You pay just £1.67 (exc. VAT) a day (midnight to midnight, UK time) for 25MB. If you have a Vodafone Business Essentials price plan costing £35 a month or more, we’ll automatically waive the £1.67 daily fee for Vodafone Data Traveller in our Europe zone as it’s included in your plan.

We’ll send you free texts to remind you of your daily allowance and let you know if you’re nearing your data limit. If you use the full 25MB and want to continue using data, you’ll pay 85p a MB up to 5MB, then £4.25 for every 5MB after that.

In the rest of the world

You simply pay £3 a MB up to 5MB, then £15 for every 5MB after that. If you’d like more predictable costs, just opt in to Vodafone Data Traveller – Rest of the world.

Vodafone Data Traveller – Rest of the world

If you’d like to extend Vodafone Data Traveller to cover our Rest of the world zone, you can opt in free of charge at any time. You’ll pay £5 a day for 25MB, every day you use data (midnight to midnight, UK time).

We’ll send you free texts to remind you of your daily allowance, and let you know if you’re nearing your data limit. If you do use the full 25MB and want to continue using data, you’ll pay the standard rate of £3 a MB up to 5MB, then £15 for every 5MB after that.

Vodafone Data Traveller – Monthly

If you’re a frequent traveller, you can get Vodafone Data Traveller in Europe for just £8.34 a month – which gives you 25MB a day for the entire month. And if you need to use your phone in our Rest of the world zone, you can get the same service for just £5 a day for the same 25MB allowance.
